Scope of Application

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the website and services operated by forest bus ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Orders and Contract Formation

A purchase contract is formed when you complete an order on our website and we send an order confirmation email. If we are unable to fulfill your order due to stock availability or other reasons, we will notify you promptly.

Payment

We accept payment via Stripe, including credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPay, and other methods. Available payment methods are displayed on the checkout page. Payment is processed at the time of order.

Shipping

  • Shipping area: Japan domestic only
  • Shipping method: Yu-Pack (Japan Post)
  • Estimated delivery: Ships within 5–7 business days after order and payment confirmation
  • Shipping fees: Varies by destination and package size. See our Shipping Policy for details. Free shipping on orders over ¥10,000 (tax included).

Please note that deliveries may be delayed due to weather conditions, transportation circumstances, or other factors beyond our control.

About Handmade Products

All products sold by us are handmade, crafted entirely by hand.

Unlike mass-produced items, each piece may have slight variations in shape, color, texture, pattern, size, and weight. Minor differences from product photos may occur, but these are inherent characteristics of handmade products and do not constitute defects.

The following are not considered product defects (and are not eligible for returns or exchanges):

  • Slight variations in shape and size
  • Individual differences in color and shade (especially when natural materials are used)
  • Differences in surface texture and feel
  • Minor traces of handcrafting

We hope you will appreciate these variations as part of the unique charm of handmade products.

If your product has obvious damage or defects, please contact us at support@forest-bus.com within 7 days of delivery.

Returns and Cancellations

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • You contact us within 7 days of receiving the product
  • The product is in unopened, unused, and resalable condition

Returns are not accepted in the following cases:

  • More than 7 days have passed since delivery
  • The product condition has changed due to customer use
  • The reason is based on natural variations in handmade products (minor differences in size, shape, or color)
  • Items marked as non-returnable on the product page are not eligible for returns or exchanges, except for initial defects

To request a return, please contact us at support@forest-bus.com. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except in cases of defective products caused by our error, in which case we will cover the shipping costs.

Order cancellations are accepted only before shipping preparation begins. Once shipping preparation has started, cancellations cannot be accommodated.

Disclaimer

All our products are handmade. Please understand the following before purchasing:

  • Each product is unique and may vary slightly in size, shape, and color, even for the same item
  • Product colors may appear different from the images on our website due to your monitor settings
  • Minor variations in texture may occur due to the nature of the materials used

These characteristics are inherent to handmade products and do not constitute defects.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including product images, designs, and text, is the intellectual property of forest bus. Reproduction, redistribution, modification, or republication of any content without our prior written permission is prohibited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will take effect when the updated Terms are posted on our website.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
